Rey Conquer
I’m a writer and editor living in London. I review contemporary fiction and non-fiction, and exhibitions and works of art history – most recently Janet Malcolm’s memoirs for The Tablet and Navid Kermani’s speeches for the TLS. Longer essays, on Anna Seghers, queer virtue, animals and other topics, have appeared or will appear in LA Review of Books, Cambridge Humanities Review and Oxonian Review. I’m on the editorial board of Art & Christianity and was previously editor-in-chief of Oxonian Review. My first book was on colour in German modernist poetry and I’m working on a second on queer hagiography. You can contact me at reyconquer@gmail.com.
